Electrical & Safety: Multifunction Switches
Flexible Printed Circuits (FPC's) are an economical way to interconnect multifunction switches in stalk controls. They can either interconnect hard tact switches and switch boards or incorporate the switch contact surfaces with precious metal plating.
Parlex offers various material options on single and double-sided circuit solutions for multifunction switch applications.
Infotainment & Navigation: LCD Displays
Parlex offers customized solutions for any LCD screen interconnect.
Powertrain controls:
The high thermal resistance, excellent heat dissipation and folding ability of PALFlex® FPC make it an ideal substrate for severe duty applications such as this engine control unit.
Lighting: LED Solutions
The ability to configure FPC's in 3-dimensions makes them ideally suited for package interior and exterior LED lighting applications. FPC's provide superior heat resistance, while the thin profile combined with a thermal heat sink provide excellent thermal dissipation.
Parlex is providing automotive circuits using both PEN and Polyimide base films, often using a single-sided design and SMT LED components for the most economical solution.
